Hello everyone!!! I hope y’all are having a great, hot! summer so far. I am! I love the hot, hot heat. Well, it’s been quite sometime since I have posted anything new. My husband and I decided to spend our 2nd wedding anniversary in New Orleans – my favorite place on the planet! I’ve also been working on getting my stuff together to get ready to start school.
Annnnyyywaaaayyy, I must admit, I have not worked on ANY new jewelry. However, I have been getting into embroidery big time! If you know me, you know I have to start new projects every couple of weeks or so. What can I say about embroidery??/ Well, not enough!! I love the colors and details. I love watching something come to life before my eyes. And, I love the possibilities. So needless to say, I truly have been embroidering my world.
If you are interested in having anything embroidered or purchasing one of the pre-made embroidered items please let me know. Without further ado, I present AvaForever Embroiders!
I, for one, am ready for some hot, springtime action! This is winter has been a bear! And, the worst part is, it’s not over yet. At least not here in Charm City.
In order to get over my winter blues, I will begin working on my spring collection this month. I had wanted to begin last month but with gearing up for my hectic semester, I didn’t have much of a chance. (I was able to finish up 3 custom orders! Thanks again, Michele!). At any rate, the spring collection will be out end of March/beginning of April. I will also be selling jewelry in-store from the fabulous Kiss n’ Make-up on the Avenue in Baltimore. The ever-so-kind and generous Deb has offered me some space. Please swing by and take a look at her beautiful items and some of my delightful jewelry.
Stay tuned…..
…with the newest collection of earrings.
Recently, there have been quite a few changes in my life. I quit my job and decided to go back to school this semester. I allowed myself a month off in order to catch up on my personal life. So, I present you with a ton of new pieces!!
The newest additions to our collection are the Katherine earrings, the Jody earrings, the Antionette earrings and a pair in the works. I was also able to create the first ever AvaForever ring, the Marguerite!!
In addition, I have been working on 3 custom projects, the Michele necklace, the Nightlife necklace and the Bluebird necklace. The Bluebird necklace is still in creation but very closely resembles the One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s necklace. I have finished work on the Gypsy necklace, as well. A beautiful vintage aqua glass teardrop dangles from a beautiful rose colored bronze chain. In the works, the Pocket Watch necklace. Once I have completed this project, I will definitely post pictures. In the meantime, check out my Etsy store or take a look at the Gallery. It’s never too early to start shopping for Valentines Day. ; )

Whew! The craziness of the holidays is finally over! I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year. My husband and I did. This was the first New Years Eve we actually stayed home and had some delicious martinis together. Our friends, one of which is from Whoop! jewelry (check out my links page), came over to watch the ball drop. All in all, it was very relaxing. So relaxing that it allowed me time to work on some new, non-custom pieces. Please check out my Etsy site as I will be listing new items regularly.
As well, I was able to begin working on my Spring collection. My inspiration for spring is the 50′s….Carmen Miranda and Esther Williams to name a few. Bright colors, fruit, and lots of layers and dimension. I’m ready for Spring already. Working on these new pieces will help me forget that we still have a few months to go.
I hope everyone enjoys the new year and, remember to check back often!

Due to the amount of custom orders I have received, I have not had time to post new pieces on Etsy. I am working on a few now and will have them up this weekend.
In the meantime, there is still time to place custom orders. I will work well into the night to insure your jewelry makes it to you by Christmas. However, the sooner the better.
Thanks again!
